AKSA Forum now available on seabreeze.com.au

We're very pleased to announce that AKSA have chosen to host their national forum here on seabreeze.com.au.
Since the turn of the century the Australian Kite Surfing Association has represented the interests of all Australian kiters by :
1) providing public liability insurance to all members.
2) assisting the development & operations of state and regional organisations.
3) safeguarding the 'right to kite' wherever possible by liaising with; and representing when necessary; local kiters and organisations at locations coming under threat of bans.
4) organising and promoting national title events in both freestyle and wave riding disciplines.
5) working in any direction considered relevant to promote a culture of safety throughout the whole range of kitesurfing activity.
6) providing a national forum for debate and development of issues which have national relevance and/or significance to the sport of kitesurfing.
AKSA is your national coordinating body. By supporting AKSA, through joining your state affiliated kiting association, you are making the greatest commitment possible to preserving the right-to-kite for everyone.
Apart from the obvious advantage of strength in numbers your AKSA provided, nationally recognised, public liability insurance is our sports greatest weapon in maintaining beach access.
Without it you put yourself at real risk of losing everything you own; you put the public in danger of extended hardship in the case of a mishap and you increase the likelihood of local authorities banning all kiters from their local beaches.
Don't be seen on a beach anywhere without your AKSA harness tag. It is the one piece of safety equipment you cannot afford to be without.
Please make use of this Seabreeze.com.au hosted forum to raise and discuss any issues which are directly related to the operations and interests of YOUR AKSA. Board members will cruise through regularly to respond to issues raised here.
