Been windsurfing since 1995 thats more than 12 years, and still can't gybe properly. It is a beautiful sport where it is just you, your equipment and the elements. Offcourse there are also your mates whom you like to pass convincingly on the water...I love it!!! Wish I can do it everyday but need to feed the family...so work comes first and only get to WS on weekends after obtaining a permit (usually only valid for 3hours) from the missus. Ohh ya..the windgods also have a say in it.
