Refugee or victims ?
Are they refugee or victims of our interference ?
So far ISIS had a single opposition; Legally governing dynasty of dictators.
At least for many decades people live at peace.
Since somebody decided to remove those dictators at force- bomb them, Saddam. Assad and Gadhafi - and inspiration is clearly from outside,
rats come to the surface in the absence of any order.
We should poll this arriving refuges if having the option:
1) the prefer to live under dictatorship of the Assad/ Saddam ( till the status quo could be changed in another democratic way
2) they are happy to flee their homes and seek refuge in other , civilization, culture
IMO this people use to live in that place for thousands of years already, and there shouldn't be a reason they could do for next few thousands.
So IMO the main effort should be creating condition for people to live in their own countries.
But that require different approach:
- not agitating , meddling in internal affair and weaponizing every side of the conflict
- but nation building effort
West may have sent plenty military advisers, teaching how to destroy any still sanding peace of equipment , infrastructure, homes and bridges but not our best bureaucratic clerks to show how to operate country , city, in our civilized manner.
To resolve the problem of millions refuges I would rather choose medium size city on their territory, draw the border on the sand around and said that is now safe , sacred city where:
- no weapons are allowed
-people live according to universal law drafted by UN
- sort of temporary big refugee camp where safety is guarantied by UN but people give up their rights to fight against each other in return
-to secure absolute safety, city is cordoned by 50 km near empty desert where no presence is tolerated without permit.
-access to the city is only trough few roads and secure checkpoints
-to make our intention absolutely clear the road and demarcating 50 km zone is protected by automatic drones and machine guns so nobody could sneak out or in.
