I was looking through my past gopro footage and realised that it is all either on a paddle mount or on the front of the board. It gets a little boring after a while and each has their own drawbacks.

I found the paddle mount would simply bury under water during top turns is also hard to watch as I move my paddle around alot
and the front mount is also really jerky as I like to pump along the wave to gain speed.

What has everyone found the best to capture good footage of SUP surfing? I really liked porchy73 helmet mounted swivel cam

Or do I bite the bullet and invest in a soloshot?
