So I'm currently in negotiations with one of Mexico's leading artisinal producers of Mezcal and Tequila to bring his product into Oz. He's over here at present with his business partner and we're running a couple of master classes for the trade around town.

Tell ya what it's been a bit of a revelation, this stuff is amazing. It's Teq/Mez but not as you know it. We already have some of the best spirits in the world in our portfolio but I've never seen anything that comes close to these, amazingly complex but soft like limestone rich spring water. Fat, soft and round. Actually more approachable than most fortified wines. True sipping spirits.

I worked Whiskey Live over the past weekend in Perth and there was nothing remotely as interesting as this gear. Different category I know but....
