Heads-up on a great event coming our way next month!

As part of the Sydney Pittwater Festival, the Newport Royal Motor Yacht Club is hosting the first Sydney SUP Expo and Scotland Island race - Sunday March 9th 2014

Six months in the planning this is going to be one big FUN FAMILY DAY with the details to be announced over the next week.

I joined some friends on Sunday for a 'Tour De Pittwater' to scope out the possibilities for the race and a bit of a play.
The Scotland Island race will be a big part of the event and as we found out, it is in a really beautiful part of Pittwater!



In keeping with a fun, family event there will be heaps of divisions and heaps of prizes, SUP Expo, lessons, demos, kids clinics and family time trials!
Plenty more will be added prior to the event, so if you love to paddle standing up, mark it on the calendar - Sunday March 9th!
