Frustration at losing tools on beach
Generally us windsurfers are pretty honest, sharing and caring type people when it comes to returning items left behind on a beach in our haste to hit the water. At least when it comes to the big stuff. But after losing 3 screwdrivers this summer (Pelican point and Melville) I think this principle doesn't extend to the small stuff. OK, it's not the value of the item but the inconvenience.
My tip is - if you see something on the beach. Just leave it there as the person will remember it when they go to pack up to go home and see it sitting in the spot they left it. Pocketing it is not cool!
