Its clear... the biggest kiting event entries pools are for long distance open format races.
All equipment allowed, minimum levels of experienced, pros vs amateurs.

I'm sure there are other example but searching google seems most french kiting events also include a distance race.
Now the question being; with the obvious popularity, why are there not more such races? And a formal class created locally or internationally to develop and promote such events.
