I'm in the us and learned on a one design in the 70s
Loved that board, original teak boom centerboard and mast foot.
I just purchased a one design "dura lite" and will be picking it up this week.
Can't find much us info on it as there seems to be no active classes left here.
I'm assuming it weighs less than the 50lbs of the original, and it was marketed as a freestyle board, but other than that I can't find info. I'm hoping since Australia still has a very active one design scene, someone here would know the actual weight of the board and maybe any other performance differences? Any help would be appreciated! Can't wait to pick up this ride, great to see you guys keeping the class alive and well!
