I bought a weather station for about $100 from a local shop and was very happy until the wind bit froze. No problems took it back and was given a new one.

It performed well for 2 weeks then the out side temp got stuck on 7.5 deg c. Now need to take it back. The good news is no need to pay for return postage if from ebay etc and delay to get a result but still not satisfactory.

The same unit is available online however by now with return postage this would be getting expensive.

After a bit of searching I would like a weather station that provides all the normal readings plus UV index, so I am after advice, thanks.
