Really tough conditions , good turn out and another great event put together by Surfing Queensland. I took Dogmans spot on the mic.

Open Men went to: Jackson Close 1st , Keahi 2nd and the new super grom Tim Cyprien took out 3rd. All 3 rode the JP 8-0 x 27 and Lincoln Dews came in 4th. (All 4 qualify for Aussies) Geoff Breen broke his ankle in the warm up

Open Women went to: Shakira Westdrop 1st , Sondra Purser 2nd , Ke'ale Dorries 3rd (another super grom) & Ali Fullagar 4th (1st two qualify for Aussies)

Over 40's went to: Paul Jonesy 1st , Pete Dorries 2nd , myself 3rd & Ritcho Richardson 4th. (All 4 qualify for Aussies)

Over 50's went to: Ken Joslin 1st , Rosco Hassum 2nd , Barry Hatch 3rd & Kevin Joslin 4th (1st two qualify for Aussies)
