I know your going to get stuck in here for asking this question but just here me out.



I live in Broome WA - I surf waste waves once every 2/3 weeks maybe head waves every 8 weeks. Average ride length is 3-5 seconds. I'll surf knee waves every week. Paddle sideways stand up maybe get a turn or to the nose. Surfing sessions due to the tide an hour. Twice a year a cyclone swell comes through just over head.



Looking to buy a longboard but you can't buy boards up here so have to go online - http://www.thesurfboardwarehouse.com.au/browse/longboards/. Looking at the vintage log performance 9ft at $465 or the 9'2 vintage log $700 heavier glassing. I am not keen on the vintage log because it obviously starts to push the price up to getting a better board. Do you think the cheap one would suit my needs until I one day move to anew

location or could anyone recommend a place to buy online.

Lets share some photos. One of my favs was a beachie which surprisingly had hardly anyone out (it's normally really crowded) and I got probably the best wave I have ever caught in 20 years of surfing the joint. Didn't stop to take much of a photo (was taken with my phone) so photo doesn't really so justice.
