In his October editorial, Ryan Riccitelli complained about what he called "beach drama," ie attitude problems with some riders at some beaches. HOW IRONIC IS THAT!

Ryan Riccitelli has made an art form out of promoting a fake, badass attitude. Eg:
- Slamming a guy wearing a helmet and safety gear. "Don't be a helmet."
- Subtly promoting porn use in 14 year olds. eg "What's your fav porno?" (to 13 and 14yo boys).
- Online forum reamings of Australia's JB (John Messenger) eg Slamming his girlfriend for being "fat."
- Supporting Slingshot's recent "in your face," "f**k you," style of promotion. eg Pissing on each other's face and laughing about it. eg Setting fire to their hotel room.
- Objectification of women and girls with semi-naked pictures and a porn-obsessed editorial line. Pornocentric language eg "jail bait." If you promote a culture of disrespect (eg towards women), is it any surprise a similar badass culture appears at your local beach?
- General support for a "f**k you," in your face, badass wakestyle attitude.

Young riders are impressionable. They take a lot of their cues from the media. Ryan Riccitelli, probably more than any other single person in kitesurfing, is responsible for promoting the fake, badass attitude that is leading to kitesurfing bans worldwide.
