Great site and great forums, lots of good info for a relative newbie to the sport.

I have a question though that doesnt seem to be answered on here yet.

HAs anyone experienced their paddle shaft getting greasy and slippery?

Just noticed after the last few surfs it feels quite slippery.

Its a GSI carbon paddle and shaft.

Thought it might be wax so I rubbed some foam dust on it, but no difference. (helps get wax off a board really well)

so maybe its oil from my skin or something.
Any suggestions?
