Naish 9'6" and Creatures Deck Pad - Video
Here's another 'Casso Sucker Cam' video of today's session at Little Narrabeen (on Sydney's Northern Beaches). I was riding a borrowed Naish 9'6" Fish from Sam at WindSurfnSnow.

The surf was only about two foot with a light off-shore and only one other guy out for most of the session. They were only short rides and a lot of them were quite sucky (not your ideal SUPing waves).

Sam had loaded his Naish with the new Creatures of Leisure SUP pad. It feels great under foot, super grippy yet comfortable on your soles. The side steps are high (nearly 2cm at the outer edge) but seem to work really well - they are a good angle and in just the right place. The length is great - it had me covered for all my moving around. The black pad is good to hide dirty foot prints although on Sam's pad there is a bit of discoloration between the segments, ie. they don't quite match in colour. I'm not sure of the target design - but I suppose it's better than just all black.

Here's a pic from the Creatures site:

The Naish 9'6" went really well yet again. A great board for a bit gouging and it's nice and easy to throw around. It handled the sucky ones well and didn't dig a rail or nose once.

Here's my old review from my the other time I rode the 9'6":
