GPS watches for training sessions.
I'm thinking of getting a watch with GPS to more accurately measure distance, time and heart rate during training sessions. I have seen from previous posts that some do overlay on google maps which looks preety interesting. What do you all suggest?

I vaguely remember someone mentioning this before so I know it has been done by members of this forum.
Will be keen to get some tips, experience, what not to do, (or even how long it takes) to get from one side to the other?
How safe do you say it generally is?
