That might be the crux of the planets problems. Over-run by Homo sapiens who are infused with genes promoting a "Nice guys finish last " culture. Any legislation to favour the nice guy gets undermined. Too many of us are not programmed to be happy in anything but an NGFL culture.

Clone Homo neanderthalensis and bulk infuse them back in the gene pool. Apparently they were a very nice lot of folks, highly intelligent, sharing and caring etc. At first meeting with Home sapiens they finished last of course, but the second time around maybe we could do it better and incorporate their valuable genes that would be more compatible with a new world order.

Another way, if cloning proves difficult, is to reassemble their genes by selective breeding of the current population. The genes are apparently still amongst us but way too fragmented to have a cultural influence. By selectively breeding amiable big-boned people do you think we could get them back? Need a proper geneticist to answer than one?
