New Board ordered
I did not want to hijack Macs thread last night - he seemed too excited!

I sold my 6'10" a few weeks back as it was hardly getting any use and when I did surf it felt way too big. I need a board that has a bit more range as I am often away with work these days and being able to take one board is the preference. Whilst I love my POD its not that flash when you get some size and I also surf a few spots that are 20 min plus paddles from the beach. I have spent the last few weeks shopping round for a new board but could not find what I wanted so yesterday I ordered myself a new board with more range that will still be ok on the bigger days from LL's mate Murray Bourton. Very excited. I did not want to go too long but wanted lots of paddle power - so he has fattened up a Silver Bullet for me - but kept the length at 6'6" - can not wait to receive it in the post!! 6'6" * 22'1/4" * 2' 7/8" - it has lots of volume at 43.63 liters (or 122.94 beers as the equiv in real mans language) but I still should feel like I am surfing a fairly short board. He said he will roll the deck a little more than usual to keep the rail from being too boxy. So most of the volume will be in the middle of the board. Its a quad but will come with a 5 fin setup. It will have a nice bit of concave through the mid part of the board into a vee through the tail. Its a round tail.

Now I just need to decide on some art work. I saw this board whilst having a sticky beek around the traps. What do you fellas think of this? I was thinking that maybe this design but in that blue colour similar to Simondo's new stick instead of the burnt orange. Its fairly plain - but thats the kinda guy I am.

It should be ready for PP fingers crossed!
