As you guys know I am from the dark side.
I have been checking out the longest of rooms for a few months - but rarely post. Over the past week or so I have warmed to the green room as you guys appear to be a great bunch of blokes that go off subject at random and don't take life too serious - unlike somewhere else. Then I started to think what would riding an LB be like.
I haven't riden SB since 95 as I have put on a few lb's since. Started Sup 1 year ago and love it. I always said I am too young for a mal (which I know is a bit rich considering I Sup). Well that may change, as I was checking out McTavish's website last night and may have the LB bug. Owning a longboard would get me out there more regularly as I only Sup surf when it's glassy – on a LB I would go out in most conditions.
I love SUPing on flatwater, and the surf, and will continue but just reckon I might have found a new hobby. It's amazing how your outlook can change in such a short time.
And I get to wear an 'old guys rule t-shirt'.
