1968 - a fork in the road, Longboards progressed
I was checking Tyler's site...

Tyler's self-galvanized project eventually brought him to the late '60s: the beginning of the popularity of the shortboard and its boom into mass surf culture. Instead of seeing the industry's shift towards the shortboard as a linear progression in the history of surfboard manufacturing, Tyler saw a fork in the road. His new mindset: advancing the traditional equipment from Surfing's Golden Era that had been left behind and deemed “so-called” obsolete.

Simondo here agian - Tyler is certainly on a beautiful little "trip", advancing traditional board design, whilst remaining traditional!

His opening hours, Mon-Fri, 11-5. ELEVEN! That's brilliant!
His shop is in Eucalyptus Drive, El Segundo. Close to the beach in LA, between LAX and the Refinery. Will ship anywhere in the world.
