14ft glide came in the mail the 0ther day,managed to have aflat water paddle midweek,having never paddled any thing bigger than a 11'2 starboard i was pretty happy when the blade went in the water and off i glided .having not paddled for 13weeks due to broken leg i was very suprised by the stability and managed to paddlefor half an hour with out falling, then it happend.............. woke up this morning 14 weeks to the day since the last one ,could feel it building,the palm trees were thrashing the frroth was forming and it wasnt the coffee 7am the call was made to telstra john want to do a downwinder, job was on wind was up.
on the water at 830 till 9 went from backbeach to point more estmate 3ks... couldnt belive the speed and stability of the glide, conditions were pretty challengeing offshore windgusting to 30kns into 1mt swell,every now and again you would be on the back of aswell and a decent runner would pick u up for 20 or so metres,one word frothingyou were right DJ the naish glide is goodany gero crew keen for downwinders give us a PM im keen
