We are looking at a trip up the Goldcost for surf and wave kitesurf

where is the best spot for beach frontage and family affair where I will not upset any locals particularly the local surfers? Best time of year

is anywhere along Main beach any good? I would normally avoid point breaks for surfing as I can't stand crowds anyway so beach break scene is fine
