Researching self rescue. Here's an old thread.
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/General/Self-Rescue-Thread?page=1 I've been lucky whenever there has been gear failure there has been a passing boat or rescue boat plus I sail on a lake so I'd end up on the shore somewhere.. I often imagine trying to do this stuff in 25kts of wind with waves crashing over you. I've had the adjuctable outhaul come undone a few times and even in water where I could stand up ( chop breaking )it was a hell of a job to rethread. Trying to hold all the bits together as you unrig to self rescue must be impossible!
