Learned explanation about historical conquest of Australia. Greens Senator Dr. Mehreen Faruqi recently claimed in her inaugural speech that Australia was built on "stolen land". This claim is repeated too often and isn't refuted often enough. As a qualified historian, last night Mr Sherry Sufi confronted this issue head-on. I believe historically he is absolutely correct. It follows if that is the case, then the Greens Senator is wrong in truth and fact and has misled Parliament. What will flow from this ?
