So.I am looking at a beautiful little boat with a Buhk saildrive! 10 hp vertical shaft, direct coupled to saildrive. Apparently the original 1984 motor, re-built in 2005, and recently 'done up' by reputable firm. Looks good, and well cared for, but haven't heard running yet, and not sure of total hours. From what I have read on this forum, this is not my engine of choice, and I see tales of woe on saildrives. So, brains trust: would you take the plunge or do I keep looking????????
