NEWS FLASH Foil Board Attacked

On Saturday 6th August a few of us went over to Kihei for a Downwind paddle as it was all time just surfed all the way. Kihei is so mechanical. Connor Baxter did a Maliko Downwind Run on his Starboard Foil Board and guess who, Connors Foil Board got attacked by Timmy the Tiger Shark in the 10ft range the Tiger hit the foil with lightning speed around Mama’s Fish house Connor had to use his paddle pocking the Tiger in her face to keep her away, you can see tiger shark teeth marks on the Foil. Lucky Connor is OK.

I guess Timmy the Tiger Shark miss took the foil as it shines on top of the water surface as a Big Lure - or a big flying fish.

I think this will be the first of many attacks

Maliko was just EPIC today for my final Maliko Run just surfed all the way, I love maliko.

G'day Breezes in 2013 I remember posting on here that Maui had around 8 Tiger Shark attacks from August to November, 4 being fatal.

I can't remember who but I got severely heckled by a few guys from WA saying I was full of s@#t because it was not on Australian TV

Breezes, you'd only hear of shark attacks on Oahu only because it's a tourist destination, on Maui no-one cares only the locals.

Will be interesting to see how all the brands go if the current action on the good old ASX and other indices around the globe turn into a full on and accepted bear market.
