Was just reading about Obamas new executive order re gun control. As a side note congress has voted down a bill that would tie the terror watchlist to gun purchases. Essentially making it so that if you are on the terrorist watchlist you can't legally buy weapons in the U.S. No brainer yea? Apparently not over there

I read this news clip on the ABC site this morning. In the wake of yet another mass shooting, President Obama asked for statistics regarding gun violence in comparison to terrorism. The following chart really highlight the disproportion of efforts and finance in these two.

Terrorism:
Between 1970 and 2014, a total of 3,521 deaths which includes 3000 deaths in the Twin Towers terror act.

Gun Violence:
For the year 2015, there are 9,940 death ! And there are still a few more months left yet
