Bullet Proof wave sail Part 2
Firstly thank you for all the great suggestions on a super tough sail but..........I need to come clean on the real motive for this topic

On the 6th of July one of our IWC members was sailing at Inverloch on a Ka 4.5 Kaos when he got smashed by a strong gust. The sail and board parted company. Richie (Madventure gpstc) was unable to catch the rig in time before it disappeared.
One of my workers mentioned to me in November that her Dad found a sail a week earlier past Mahers Landing when paddling in his sea kayak. 8 km away The discription of the sail was" A sail with pole and handle" (Not a sailor ) Went and had a look....it was Richies sail, the only damage was a 100mm tear in the mono film This sail has spent nearly 4 months being bashed around the inlet and all it suffered was this small tear and a chip on the bottom of the mast. Thats a Bullet Proof Sail.

Now we could have just rang Richie and returned the sail but....thats not us
There was more fun to be had. With the help of some of the like minded IWC members and Mr KA (AMac) we borrowed a nice new Ka cardboard box and a new sail bag wrapped everything up to present to Richie on our opening weekend.

But he didn,t show
So we posted a rigging guide with his sail
inverlochwindsurf.org.au/who-we-are/rigging-tips/

We posted the Bullet Proof sail thread
www.seabreeze.com.au/

Still hadn,t noticed

We even posted a picture of it in "The Gritty Truth" Newsletter

Sunday Richie arrived at Inverloch, had a nice sailing session, then we presented him with a very nice NEW Ka Box and fun was had by all
Including Richie

Pics of surprise will follow. Thanks Richie
