Hiya. Anyone know if this chain is any good. It's a lot cheaper than Whitworths. Site says it's made under licence to CMP to Canadian standards and will suit Australian winches. I'm planning on buying a Muir VR1250 down the track.

I'm aware that there has been some Chinese stuff on the market that hasn't been up to scratch. It's 1.49 kg per metre. Whitworths' standard stuff is 1.35 kg per metre. The CMP stuff is 1.47 kg per metre (and apparently has better quality links or something without protrusions at the join in each link. Does this matter?). All classed as Grade L.
