Wondering if I can get some thoughts and comments on the Star-board TAC wood deck construction.

Is it holding up well, compressing, sinking and how is the grip standing up to the rigours of surfing ?

Also, is it true it comes with clear railsaver tape or is that after market ?

Any comments would be appreciated as my Whopper Candy deck showed compressions behind the centre standing pad from the very first surf every time my back heel dropped back for turns and my Big Easy Candy deck has bubbled which is a shame as it surfs fun so I'm thinking of changing construction rather than board brand.
