RIP
The jogger made her way gracefully along the beach at Scarborough. It was a balmy summers afternoon and she revelled in the beauty of the beach and the soft evening breeze. Passing a metal sign she increased her pace slightly as she passed smoothly through the assorted bathers and other joggers enjoying the beach with her. The dog struck moments later. Matching her speed easily it hurled itself at her neck dragging the girl savagely to the ground where it tore at vital veins and arteries until with a groan she died in the sand. Witnesses quickly called the authorities and in minutes rangers had closed the beach and were seen herding the dog away from the body and further up the beach. A bystander approached the Rangers and looking puzzled said. " Aren't you going to put the dog down? It obviously is a threat to other people. It has already killed someone. Herding it up the beach won't achieve anything. It will just return after you have gone." The Ranger shook his head. "Nah mate" he said. "It is the dogs environment. See that sign? It says DOG BEACH. When you enter the dog beach it is you that is invading their territory. And anyway. Millions of dogs are killed and eaten in Asia. No, we will just herd it up the beach until night fall and when we can't see the dog anymore we will go home. Then in the morning we will open the beach again". The bystander looked at the Ranger shook his head and said. "Mate. You're a fool".
