Ok so you've got a new board, where do you guys start in what fin options you try?

I'm looking at a few True Ames & Alkali options for the new pin tail that will come from Mr Goddard.

I am sure there are other threads like this but I am oblivious to them.

So, I rode a 9'8 mal of some random dude while I was at the recent comp, He had this fin in it that it turned so well but still held in great while on the nose, I would not attribute this to the board at all, I hated the board.

I have seen the before and chatted to a few longboarders and another local also has one. A shape like this www.wetfins.com.au/surfboard-fins/longboard-fins/rainbow-fins-10-a-line-clear/

Is this shape known for turning but still having great hold?

Could you recommend (with links) a fin that will give me great hold and still turn?

I am not too fussed on price, I can get my sponsors to get me one.

So what do you guy' use on your logs/single fin boards.

I've got a 10 inch hatchet looks great but having a trouble steering the board any advice,I normally use a standard shape 10 inch which I might give a go on new new board.
