Ok. Now that Sup foil boards are getting so short. I am thinking about the possibilities of having one for both Sup & Prone foiling.
I know that it is possible to prone a sup as I have done it on my Sunova 8ft 3 by 29 wide. Even better on my 27.5 Jimmy Lewis Suptech but its Sup stability is difficult. I weigh average of 80 kgs.
But looking for the best fit for both. I would say the width would be the main problem due to comfortable Prone paddling versus comfortable Sup stability.
My current foil board is 115 volume, 7ft long & about 31 wide. Very stable with foil added.
I surf in mainly lumpy swell conditions caused from side swell rebounding from an island & or breakwall. The other conditions is the usual wind chop. So Sup stability is important.
So thinking if a 6ft by 27 wide at 105 litres would be the best comprimise.
I haven't researched the sizes of all the short foil board SUPs as yet. But think at this stage the Jimmy Lewis short SUPs may be close if not the one.
Just putting it out there for comments before I start researching.
