Hi SUP'ers, anyone out there ridden both the Speeed and the Shroom? I'm still looking for a SUP to complement my Speeed, specifically something more stable for those sloppy, small days. Does the Shroom paddle on to waves more easily than the Speeed? [Mine is 8'11"]. I'm getting older [and uglier] and the surf seems to be getting bumpier and less forgiving. I'm hoping the Shroom might save me going to an over-9' Sup. None to demo here [NSW Far South Coast] so I'm relying on others' experience and superior knowledge.

Other forums have it so why not this one, with so many new comers to the sport its a good way to share your wins/losses and SUP adventures.

Me, I SUP'd a metro beachy, noticed the swell was a bit stronger than I thought with a little bit of west in it and better timing than forecast, water was beautiful and warm and there was no one out a Dawn.

I scouted a bank up the beach and jagged a couple of clean ones before the swell died off and the crowd arrived. One good sized one was so much fun, probably the first good sized wave I have had on the SUP - stoked.
