Does anyone else think it's rude when callers ask to be put through to someone without introducing themselves first? I am not a professional receptionist, but since the GFC we haven't had one in my office and we share the phone answering duties between the 6 of us.

When this does happen I ask who is calling before I agree to put them through, just in case the person they are after needs to be 'in a meeting' rather than speak to them.
