What is a bogan really?

Anyone could be one, one day and be a yuppie the next? Then again, what is a yuppie!?

The one thing I've personally noticed are those that are educated well and those that are living by the skin of their teeth.

The later have no interest in arts, culture, other cultures, science or even politics - as long as it's a "stop the boats" type.

Some call "bogans" red-necks. I do, but I've seen plenty of very well off red necks.

What what exactly is a bogan?
