Had to purchase a couple of items needed for some work next week, today looked on the net and found the best price was in fact from a local photographic company in Adelaide in their online catalogue. I rang them and yes they had the items in stock, I asked if they were the same as the Internet price... they said 'yes'... so put them away for me and I will pick them up later this arvo.
Had to go a bit out of my way, pay for parking etc went in and got the bits one item was $5 more and the other $6 above the web price when I asked why and would they honour the web price of their own store, they said NO due the shop costings were different from the warehouse costings and a different franchisee. (and wouldn't budge on price)
Needed the bits so paid the price but I'm not going back again despite needing to purchase a couple of more costly items before the end of financial year.... sorry the web wins, and they wonder why the local guys down the tube.
