Sitting on a train today , waiting for departure , gazing out the window , I was watching the Garbo guy emptying the bins .
Melbourne city station .
We got those plastic bag , ( problem one ) , side by side bins . One for rubbish , one for recycling .
The guy lifted one bag and put it into the other , tied the top and chucked it into his his big wheely bin .
Watched him move 30 metres and do the same with the next bins .
Recycling my ass .
Im all for recycling , but what we are actually doing is a load of crock .
China won't buy our rubbish anymore , no matter how much we pay them ,
Asia can't accept any more of our rubbish either .
And we still have two bins to make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside .
Dont get me started on eco this and that .
Eco board construction , yeah right .
And .... I've only had a couple beers .
