Well, today certainly changed from what I thought would play out.

Firstly, Paul and I had arranged for a 6.30am meet at Bonnie Vale for a sweep to Jibbon Point and a downwind run through to Cronulla and as such, we both came armed with 14′ race style boards for the occasion.

Upon paddling out though, we were met by 2 foot peeling righthanders from 'mushies' through to 'middles'.

'OK, let's just grab a couple to warm up' were the words spoken.

An hour later….'Do ya' wanna paddle out to Jibbon or stay ?'

We stayed…..too much fun. Here's some footage of the morning. Enjoy;
