Sometimes its hard buying local.
So I want to get this glazing compound to finish of my hydrofoil build.
Its recommended by the delta hydrofoil guy and looks like a good idea.
So i go to my local automotive paint shop. Never heard of it.
A bit more research reveals its a 3m product. I ring 3m in NZ.
They say go back to the automotive shop they are the agents.
I ring the guy back. Give him the exact model of the product. He still has no idea.
I ring another agent. They have no idea either.
Finally I fire up ebay. There is the exact product I want $10 free international shipping from the US.
2 minutes later its ordered. Job done.
Bloody hell its easy to order stuff online if you know exactly what you want. Its often a lot easier than buying local and getting considerably worse service.
