SATURDAY 25th NOVEMBER:
WINDSURFING DAY AT BALMORAL SAILING CLUB.
The Balmoral Sailing club is hosting the Windsurfer One Design Traveller's Series and the BIC Techno Rippers Event this Saturday.
There are 4 different events.:
1) Try windsurfing This is perfect for beginners or those who haven't been out in a long time and want to get back into windsurfing. There will be 4 free half hour Try Windsurfing time slots from 0930-1130. Best to register prior to day to guarantee a go.

Be at Balmoral 30 min prior to the allocated time and sign in at Balmoral Water Sports (under Balmoral Sailing Club at the Southern end of Balmoral Beach).You need to bring long sleeved tshirt/ lycra top, hat, wetsuit if you have one , sunglasses with strap, something warm eg jumper, water bottle , labelled clothing, old trainers , plastic bag for wet clothes, towel, sunscreen.

2) LITTLE RIPPERS: for those who can sail and want to improve skills and learn to race.

3) RIPPERS RACE: for those who have a Bic Techno 293 board, can sail around a course, and preferably use a harness.

4) Windsurfer One Design Traveler's Series.
This is the first of 3 events (Balmoral November 25, Narrabeen Jan 14 and Woollahra March 4.There will be a point score and you have to do all 3 events and be a current financial member of Windsurfer Class Association to race and to be eligible for the trophy.Club members can race for the day as usual. There will be numerous shorter races in the morning and afternoon.
Registration from 0900-1000.Briefing 1000. Racing 1100 onwards.
All windsurfer members at Balmoral Sailing Club need to have windsurfing insurance. After going through the process, I think this one is the best for windsurfer one design sailors.
