My 14 year old daughter and I are coming to Australia in June/July and want to include some windsurfing as part of our adventure. I am "old and fat and slow" but can water start and used to sail in the gorge (Hood River-USA). She can beach start and is in the harness OK, but not yet in foot-straps. Our destinations are flexible in Australia. We would love any Northern recommendations, where there is gear rental available as close to a good spot for windsurfing, where it is decent wind and safe for beginners. Not wave sailing.
