Torn Kite panel - Is this fixable? (Photo)
Great session yesterday, but crashed the kite hard and tore a big panel.

This is a 3 year old (2010) Airush Lithium 9m.

Is this fixable or is it time for a new kite? Opinions/experience please.

Kite Repair Horror Stories
Just thought I would share some experience/feedback on 3 kites which came back from Moti Levy Wake n' Surf with half baked repair jobs. So far the defective repairs we've typically seen have been: leaky bladder repairs, partially reassembled one-pump systems (cable ties not reattached) and generally poor workmanship in some of their reinforcements. In one case a kite was damaged in return transit which they weren't prepared to acknowledge/take responsibility for. All of which have had to go back for re-repair at the cost of precious time on the water (the longest repair interval was almost 3 months).

If anyone else has given up with these guys, and found someone else who takes a bit more pride in their work, I would love to hear about it. A last word of advice If you are considering using these guys, I would strongly suggest sourcing a replacement bladder rather than going down the repair route for piece of mind.

For those of you who went kiting today at Leighton, I managed to take some photos (I was trying out a new lens). I'm in the middle of processing them, but I will upload them asap.
