Hi there to all, my name is Andrew Bates and I sailed many years ago at Lake Lefroy Land Sailing Club in the early eighties and then on for the next twelve years.
As you see from my avatar my yacht would be over twenty five years old by now, how time marches on. Well I would like to inform everyone that I will be forming
LAKE JOONDALUP LAND SAILING CLUB over the next few months.

Up in the northern corridor of Perth there is very limited space to land sail so I will be focusing on Blokarts as a club standard. I have had talks with Phil Coulter from Surfers Paradise NSW who will be supplying blokarts to new members once things get rolling.
As I said it is very early days and I will be having talks to the local Shire of Joondalup to see how they can help with one or more venues for our new club.
