Had go at stand up paddling two weeks ago. After ten minutes of wobbling and falling off, I paddled along the beach, I paddled back, I caught a little wave. I then stood there on the board wondering what to do next. Do I repeat this again or join the other SUP'rs all hanging around the break talking about mortgages, who is shaggin' who, whether to get a new Audi or Golf and the merits of their new board helping "core strength"? What is the point of these boards? They are heavy, slow, cumbersome and they don't even fit in the boots of said Audi or Golf. I don't get it ....

have they landed in australia yet , any one frothing on them, where in west oz do we get them , whats the best for 80 ish kg,for 2 -4ft beachies and reef breaks.
