Noob issues with getting into the straps
Hey all,
Just finished my 2nd 2hr lesson and just loving it!!
Got up and downwind body dragging sorted, launching landing etc. all no problem at all. In fact as far as kite handling my instructor thinks I'm probably the most competant and fastest learning student he has ever had, very stoked with the compliment as you can imagine!!
Got one issue though..........I have a leg disability and it means I have very little lifting movement with my feet, eg. toes towards head.
I spent 1/2 an hour in the water trying to get the bloody board on my feet, got it to stay there for a bit but not very well.
Would heel straps work/help??
Any other tips??
Atleast my next (and last) 2hr lesson we will just concentrate on the board. Planning to take an old board I have down to the beach to practice before my next lesson.
Cheers,
RF
