oh so I guess now is as good a time as any....The South Australian blokart and land sailing club is up and running, or should I say up and sailing As the name suggests we are a state wide club and also as the name suggests we cater for those that sail blokarts and those that sail land yachts. We are still in the process of crossing the I's and dotting the T's but in essence we are a bonifide club with a constitution and INSURANCE.
We welcome anyone who has a desire to give blokarting and or land sailing a try or anyone who is looking for an alternative to what is currently available here in SA.
We run blokart, class 5 and an open class which is a sort of "run what you brung" class, we welcome everyone and as long as people comply with the rules of our club no one will be turned away..
We have several sites around Adelaide that we sail and several sites around the sate that we have access to also for "away trips" and sailing weekends away.
Our club has a strong focus on family participation and when not sailing we still are planning to have social "outings" as a club eg BBQ's, play ground get togethers with the family and so on.....
