Four races were run today at Marmong in light, cold, rainy conditions. Race Officer Neville did well to get us underway at 1230, with everyone well powered just before the race start. Once the yellow flag dropped with a minute to go, the wind disappeared, leaving us to slog upwind to the mark. With each squall, the wind would blow enough to get planing, then when the sun came out, the wind would die again.
Still, it was fun in the gusts!
Well done to Byron McIlveen and Barry Fawkes for taking out the open and FE+ races. Also great to see Brett, Roger and Remi up from Sydney perservering in the challenging conditions.
