Can anybody offer some suggestions on the best head protection in the surf. I have sustained a gash to the temple from colliding with the fin of my board when I got rinsed in a wave. Now I have blown an ear drum from taking the lip of a wave on the side of my head. There has to be some better way to protect my head in reasonable sized surf. Your suggestions are appreciated.
