Best board for Overpowered Boosting
Just looking for opinions on people's favourite board for overpowered airs?
In particular, 45+knots cross onshore with 4-8foot waves on a 7sqm.

I believe there are a few schools of thought on this:
1. King of the air guys are often on stiff high rocker wakestyle boards with boots. This relies on finding a smooth patch of water for takeoff, but probably provides the most amount of loading if you can get it right.
2. Shinn monk style boards with flex tips which allow excellent edge holding regardless of the water surface available for launch
3. Riding a smaller board e.g. 132-135cm, but combine with a kite with massive lofting lift (like an ozone edge or a foil)

Also, I have found that smaller fins are much nicer for uncontrolled landings, and the benefit outweighs the bigger fins on takeoff benefit. I also find that the smaller fins allow faster acceleration which helps to opportunistically hit a wave face or flat piece of water for stratospheric crunk airs.
